14 September-18 October 2026: 5-Week Immersion + Capstone Retreat

Designed for busy adults, this 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training blends weeknight learning, weekend immersion, and a final retreat experience that allows you to deepen your practice and confidently step into teaching without stepping away from your daily life. You can choose to be part of our daytime or evening practicum, depending on your availability. Minimum of 3 students to run each option.

Total Hours: 200 Hours including 15 hours of online learning

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM OR   6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: Rest / Self-Study
  • Final Retreat Weekend, 16-18 October Location TBD

Schedule Breakdown

 Weeks 1–4: Foundations & Practice

Each week builds progressively, combining physical practice, theory, and teaching skills.

Weeknight Mornings OR Evenings (Mon–Thu)

  • Alignment-based asana practice
  • Pranayama (breathwork) + meditation
  • Anatomy & functional movement
  • Yoga philosophy
  • Teaching methodology and class structure

Weekend Immersion (Sat–Sun)

  • Extended asana labs and hands-on adjustments
  • Sequencing workshops
  • Practice teaching in small groups
  • Philosophy discussions
  • Restorative, yin, and specialty practices

Week 5: Integration & Teaching Practice

The final week focuses on refinement, confidence-building, and preparation for the retreat.

Monday – Wednesday:

  • Full practice teaching sessions
  • Sequencing refinement
  • Personalized feedback
  • Group discussions and Q&A
  • Integration of philosophy and teaching voice

Capstone Retreat Weekend

Integration • Practice • Transformation

The training culminates in an immersive retreat-style weekend, designed to deepen your experience and celebrate your journey.

Friday: Arrival & Grounding

  • Welcome circle & intention setting
  • Gentle evening practice (yin/restorative)
  • Optional silence to support reflection

Saturday: Immersion & Teaching Practicum

  • Morning meditation & pranayama
  • Final teaching practicum (full classes led by trainees)
  • Proctored Written Exam
  • Group feedback and mentorship
  • Evening Restorative and Yoga Nidra

Sunday: Integration & Graduation

  • Final group practice
  • Closing circle and reflection
  • Graduation ceremony & certification

Becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher

Upon successful completion of this course, participants can register with Yoga Alliance ®  to become a 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher.

Amy Ford

Amy is a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, sound healing facilitator, and yoga educator. She is passionate about supporting her students through life changes and self-discovery using a multidisciplinary and holistic approach.

With over 1000 hours of yoga training, she remains a dedicated student as she leads yoga teacher trainings and continuing education programs for experienced teachers.

Her background as a clinical therapist helps her to offer a personalized and therapeutic experience for her students. She is passionate about providing individualized care and support, as well as cultivating the next generation of yoga teachers.

Allison Gomes

Allison is a dedicated yoga teacher and comprehensive Pilates instructor with 20 years professional experience.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance, 500hr RYT, comprehensive Pilates Method certification, and additional credentials in yoga philosophy, sound healing, pre/post natal, and trauma informed yoga teaching. She regularly teaches private, group, online, and corporate classes and has designed and facilitated over 15 retreats in Southeast Asia.

Her classes are focused on taking the teachings of yoga off of the mat and into the world.
